The gala evening with the award ceremony for the IFD AWARD 2021 took place in the decorated foyer of the Congress Centre of Marburg, Germany. 15 October 2021.

Graeme Millar welcomes the finalists present and thanks them for their great participation. 80 projects were submitted from the following countries:  America, China, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Austria, Russia, Switzerland, Hungary and United Kingdom .He thanks the jury who reviewed and evaluated all the projects submitted. It was not an easy task to nominate 3 projects per category. Graeme Miller gave the floor to Henrik Mosegaard-Johansen, the representative of the main sponsor VELUX. 

In each category, there are three nominated projects, and finally the winner goes to:

1.Pitched Roof:
