How can you contribute to a healthy company culture? Time:2022/02/18 14:39:00 Hit:428
Everyone wants to work in a vibrant, caring environment in which they are valued. But how can you play a part to help create such a workplace?
Harvard Business Review offers tips to help you contribute to a healthy company culture.
Get to know people on a personal level. Reach out and befriend new team members and get to know existing co-workers better.
Celebrate others. Recognize team members for their work, setting an example for others to do the same. Remind your team of birthdays and work anniversaries or encourage people to come together and show support when a co-worker experiences a big life event or promotion. Simple gestures can create a genuine culture of care.
Step up when you can. You do not need to jump at every opportunity to lend a hand; find a balance between saying “yes” and “no.” When you say “yes,” do so with care and not resentment. At some point, you will need others to pitch in and help you.
