The International Waterproofing Forum is a technical exchange forum held on the day before the China International Roofing & Waterproofing Expo’s opening.

The successful four sessions in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 were well received by professionals and experts from famous enterprises, institutes and organizations.

The depth and width of the forum are widely recognized by industrial experts, scholars and technicians. As a major academic event integrated with the exhibition, the forum has become a grand gathering for information communication and technical exchange.

For every session, 13~15 speakers from Europe, North America and China will be invited. The experts from DOW, Carlisle, Sika, DuPont, Soprema, Monier, Low & Bonar, Lucobit, Wacker, Follmann and other well-known enterprises have been invited to make presentations in past four sessions. This session will focus on the technical progress on waterproofing of green building, infrastructure construction, and construction industry’s sustainable development. The topics will cover technology and market information involving green building, sponge city, novel roofing systems, and infrastructure construction such as building underground space, rail transit, high speed train, expressway, urban utility tunnel. The English-Chinese simultaneous interpretation will be provided to facilitate the forum communication. Over 400 professional attendants participated in the forum each time and the forum has won a good reputation in China.

2021 China International Roofing & Waterproofing Expo will be held on November 2-4 in Shanghai. CWA will cooperate with FENESTRATION BAU China, to create a 165,000 square meters exhibition platform, the largest for the world's building envelope system expo in the world. the exhibition will highlight seminars, forums and demonstration. More than 400 exhibitors will do face-to-face communication with about 100,000 visitors who are roofing contractors, builders, building owners, architects and engineers etc.

Requirements on papers:
1. Papers should be free from intellectual property dispute;
2. Papers should be submitted in MS-Word or MS-PowerPoint document. The invited speakers should submit bilingual (Chinese & English) PowerPoint presentations with a display scale of 16:9.
